Amisha grew up in New Jersey, has lived on four continents and has traveled to over 40 countries but New York City will always be home. A lawyer by training and an entrepreneur by birth, her diverse professional background reflects her lifelong curiosity and love of adventure. She has spent the last few years building two social enterprises centered around her passions for travel, craft and women’s empowerment:  Ode Kids and The Catrinka Project.  She is set to launch her latest design project, Le Collektor, in 2015. Before becoming her own boss, she crusaded for justice (and big banks) at Paul, Weiss, covered NY runway shows for Fashion File, used a counterfeit pen to do an all cash sale of a DeKooning, and wrote business plans for startups as a strategy consultant.  Amisha holds a BS in Finance and Economics from NYU, where she also studied Art History in Florence, Italy and a JD from Columbia Law School.  She struggled for a long time with writing this bio in the third  person.
